What the ad-spy class is for
Ad-spy tools (Minea, Pipiads, Koala Inspector, and the rest of that class) are built to browse creatives across Meta, TikTok, and sometimes more networks. That is useful when the job is 'what is the angle on this ad?' It is a weak starting point when the job is 'what should I list in my Shopify store this afternoon?'
What storefront research is for
WHAT Shipping? starts from public Shopify catalogues and best-seller ranks, then hangs ads off the product as a clue. You can see the store, the rank movement, a potential AliExpress supplier, and a 15-second draft import. That is Select · Source · Sell — not a mood board of hooks.
Use both without pretending they are the same
If you already bought an ad spy, keep it for creative angles after you have a SKU. Do not pick the SKU from the loudest video. Named side-by-sides for people who search a brand live under /vs. This page is the class argument.
