Shopify Analytics cannot pick your next winner
Shopify Analytics reports your store. WHAT Shipping? ranks other public Shopify winners so you can source and list. Use both.

What Shopify Analytics is for
Shopify Help: Analytics lets you review your store's recent activity, visitors, web performance, and transactions. Sales reports cover your customers' orders — sales over time, by product, by channel. Live View shows traffic if you have an online store. That is the native dashboard for a store you already operate.
What it cannot do
It cannot open another merchant's orders. It cannot rank today's climbing products across tracked Shopify stores. It cannot match an AliExpress supplier or write a draft listing into a second store. If you only watch Shopify Analytics, you are steering by the rear-view mirror of your own catalogue.
How to use them together
Use WHAT Shipping? to select a winner and import a draft. Use Shopify Analytics after you publish — sessions, sales by product, landing pages. One tool finds the SKU. The other tells you whether your listing is working.

Common questions
- Does WHAT Shipping? replace Shopify Analytics?
- No. Keep Shopify Analytics for your own store. Use WHAT Shipping? to research other public Shopify winners.
- Can Shopify reports show competitor products?
- Shopify's published sales reports are about your customers' orders. They are not a competitor catalogue.
- Where do I start if I have no sales yet?
- Shopify Analytics will look empty. Start on Radar or the public winners digest, then import a draft.
