Source the supplier after you pick the winner — not before
After you pick a Shopify winner, search AliExpress from the product page. Matches are potential suppliers — not proof you found the original factory.

Don't start in a 40-tab AliExpress spiral
Sourcing first is how you fall in love with a cheap widget nobody is buying. Select the winner on Radar or Sonar, then search AliExpress from that product page. Compare prices side by side and move. Free accounts get a daily AliExpress search cap; Pro keeps going.
A match is not a shared factory
WHAT Shipping? matches on title and product imagery. The methodology is explicit: title or image similarity does not prove a shared supplier. Treat the row as a starting supplier to price and message — then check shipping time, variants, and reviews on AliExpress yourself.
Price the listing after you have a supplier
Import uses the live Shopify source listing for photos and copy, never AliExpress media. You set markup in your connected store settings. Shopify Help covers adding the product and changing price on the product details page. The draft is where you sanity-check landed cost versus the price you will publish.

Common questions
- Can I import AliExpress photos into Shopify?
- No. Import re-hosts photos from the Shopify listing you are copying. It does not pull supplier-gallery media.
- Do you verify the supplier ships to my customers?
- No. You confirm shipping, variants, and stock on AliExpress. We point at a potential match.
- What if there is no match?
- Then you do not have a source yet. Do not list the draft until you can fulfil it. Search again or skip the product.
