What the import actually does
Signed-in Free and Pro can import. One action rewrites title and description, re-hosts the listing photos at original size, and creates a product in your connected Shopify store. The documented product promise is under 15 seconds. It is not a timed customer study. Guests sign up first and connect a store.
Draft means it cannot sell yet
Shopify Help: a product's status determines if it is ready to be sold. Draft means the details still need to be completed before the product can be sold. Active means it is ready. WHAT Shipping? always writes Draft. We never auto-publish. You open Shopify, check price and variants, then set Active when you are ready.
Fix everything on the draft before you spend on ads
Same rule as any operator loop: do not advertise a page you have not opened. Check the photo, the price versus landed cost, and the shipping promise on your store. Then publish once. We do not estimate how fast the product will sell after you hit Active.

Common questions
- Does import publish the product live?
- No. Status is always Draft. You set Active in Shopify when the details are ready.
- Do I need a paid plan to import?
- A free account can import. Guests cannot. Connect Shopify from your account, then import from a product page.
- Will the copy match the other store?
- No. Title, description, tags, and SEO are rewritten. Vendor is never the competitor brand.
- What if the hero photo fails?
- A hero re-host failure fails the job and refunds the debit. Colour and gallery images can soft-fail.
