You cannot open another merchant's Shopify Analytics
Shopify Analytics shows your store. Competitor sales figures in spy tools are not merchant-reported. Here is what WHAT Shipping? actually shows — bands, not exact revenue.

What Shopify actually publishes to a merchant
Shopify Help is clear: Analytics dashboards and reports let you review your store's recent activity, visitors, and transactions. Sales reports show your customers' orders. Staff need Analytics permission. There is no Shopify Help page that hands you another shop's payout. If a tool prints a competitor's exact daily revenue, that number did not come from Shopify Analytics.
What you can see from the outside
Public catalogues, best-seller ordering, and ads in public libraries are visible without logging into that merchant's admin. WHAT Shipping? turns those into directional ranks and traffic/sales bands. Missing evidence is treated as unknown, not zero. The methodology page is the long version.
How to use a band without lying to yourself
Use bands to compare two products, not to forecast your first week's cash. A higher band plus rank movement plus more than one independent store is a stronger shortlist than a single viral clip. It is still not a promise you will make the same money.

- Why don't you show exact revenue?
- We do not have merchant-reported results. Exact sales, profit, or ad spend would be invented. Bands are for comparison.
- Does Shopify Analytics replace a research tool?
- Shopify Analytics tells you what already sold in your store. It does not rank other Shopify stores' public best sellers. Different job.
- Are traffic numbers live?
- Every surface can have a different latest-observation time. The date on the page is part of the reading. Radar ranks refresh once a day at midnight UTC.
